Jaime Zukowski studied Anthropology, French and Spanish as an undergraduate. She spent three years in the Alsace region of France where she and husband Mark began their family. Returning west, Jaime immersed herself in classical theater in order to overcome shyness in speaking.
In the 1990’s she served as Mayor of Thousand Oaks while raising their two sons. She earned a Master of Arts in English from the University of Colorado focusing on poetry and translation.
Her essays of creative non-fiction were published weekly by the Napa Register and her poetry has appeared in the Sonoma Sun and Press Democrat.
